NOTICE REGARDING SMOKING

SMOKING AT THE POOLS……

Presently the Association Rules (section 23) does not ban smoking at pools, but rather asks all individuals to be courteous to others and refrain from smoking in the pool area when others are at the pool. The Board is pleased to report that individuals are respectful of this Issue, and we thank all for their cooperation in this matter.

Lanai smoke that drifts…..

Recently the Board has had several complaints that smoke from lanais makes its way into neighboring lanais above and (or) next door disturbing other owners/individuals. The Board knows that all individuals wish to respect other people’s air, as many of our owners / individuals have allergies asthma and other conditions including allergic reactions to secondhand smoke.

Please be aware of this issue and do your best to guard against the drifting of smoke to other unit lanais.

FILTERS ARE AVAILABLE TO CLEAR OVER 300 SQUARE FEET AND SELL FOR LESS THAN $20. A VERY THOUGHTFUL THING TO DO FOR YOUR NEIGHBORS AND YOURSELF AND OTHERS IN YOUR UNIT. EACH LANAI IS WAY LESS THAN 300 SQUARE FEET, SO THE UNIT WOULD REALLY DO A GREAT JOB IN PROTECTING THE HEALTH OF YOUR NEIGHBORS AND ALL INDIVIDUALS IN YOUR UNIT.

This is not a Board requirement, merely a suggestion that would go a long way to keep you and people in your unit healthy as well as retaining harmony with your neighbors
